On Tuesday 24th October 2011, representatives from Tabor Lodge Addiction & Housing Services Ltd travelled to Leinster House to present to an Oireachtas Joint Committee on Health and Children. The representatives were Pat Coughlan (Chairman of Board of Management of Tabor Lodge Addiction & Housing Services), Mary Coughlan, Aileen O’ Neill (General Manager of Tabor Lodge Addiction & Housing Services), Mick Devine (Clinical Director of Tabor Lodge), Finbarr Cassidy (Treatment Manager of Fellowship House Men’s Residence) and Eileen Crosbie (Treatment Manager of Renewal Women’s Residence).
The Joint Committee was chaired by Jerry Buttimer TD and presentations were given by Mick Devine, Finbarr Cassidy and Eileen Crosbie. All outlined the role of the three centres and stressed the importance of these services moving on into the future.
