Renewal Women’s Residence

Introduction:

Renewal Women’s Residence is situated on its own grounds overlooking Cork City on the Blarney Road. It was set up by the Mercy Order in response to a need for a residential supportive environment for women who are in the early stages of recovery from addictions. It opened in 1999.

Renewal has accomodation for 10 women aged 18 years and over.

Our Secondary Period Programme is based on the Hazelden Minnesota Model and promotes “Total Abstinence”.

Renewal is the only Secondary Treatment Centre in the whole of Ireland for women.
