Continuing Care Services:


  • Each Resident is helped to draw up an Aftercare Plan before leaving treatment.
  • Residents are referred to a Continuing Care Group provided by the original referring agency, or to another Continuing Care Group in their locality.
  • Monthly in-house Continuing Care meetings are arranged.
  • One to One counselling is offered to residents who seek support.
  • Telephone Service – while awaiting admission, clients are asked to make weekly telephone contact with the appropriate centre.
  • Former residents and family members also keep in touch by phone.
  • Each Resident completes an Evaluation Sheet and is asked to make suggestions for the improvement of the Programme.
  • Renewal provides a weekly Support meeting for those clients who are experiencing difficulties in maintain their sobriety.
  • Renewal provides one to one meetings with counsellors when necessary and immediate help when relapse occurs.
